Heat Geek convinced me of the value of heat pumps, dispelling myths and fallacies some time ago. Today, they have local trusted installers whose work they guarantee and they take control of all the paperwork, including the grant application.
Tincknell Heating Ltd
Excellent and very knowledgeable
Vector Heat
A good all round service. Good communication and with plenty of online support material. DNO registration had some issues (unique to us) and the comms could have been a bit quicker on that but once sorted the process went smoothly.
Net Zero Heating Solutions
Tidy, polite and professional.
Revolution Heating
Excellent throughout giving me the confidence to go ahead with having an air source heat pump installed and I would definitely recommend Heatgeek
Daviot Technical Solutions
It's probably always an anxious time for anyone embarking on a fundamental change in their domestic energy system but I very quickly felt completely confident in their service as their high level of skills became apparent.... I appreciated the attention to detail
Ms Cookers And Boilers Ltd
Generally good service with responsive communications - except for an overlooked insurance policy document that I had to chase. It would be better to at least acknowledge receipt of a query rather than silence until escalated a week later.
Option Energy Solutions
Very professional and efficient. They have clearly used their extensive experience to put together a great service. I feel confident that there is a company of substance behind the job and have been impressed with everything so far!
City Warmth Plumbing & Heating Ltd
Generally excellent although the communications were a little slow at times.
P A Property Services
Excellent service from Ed and his team. Installed the heat pump, removed the old Gas Boiler, fixed certain radiators and replaced others. Worked tirelessly and repeatedly to fix faulty radiators. Very happy with the service. Perhaps an emergency call number would be very helpful.
Findlay Heating & Plumbing Limited
Great! They made it incredibly easy.
Heatswap Limited
Excellent
Tjr Heating And Cooling
In 2026, a typical air source heat pump installation in the UK costs between £3,000 and £20,000 after the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, which can be up to £9,000 if you’re on oil or LPG. Final costs depend on property size, insulation levels, emitter upgrades and system design quality. At Heat Geek our average install price is £3,000 (after the grant). That's the same as swapping out your gas boiler.
Because every home is different, the only way to get accurate numbers is through a properly modelled design. Heat Geek’s paid Design Consultation provides a full heat loss calculation, system specification and guaranteed performance estimate tailored to your property.
Reputable manufacturers, but we specialise in two platforms: Vaillant and Viessmann. Deep expertise in a small number of proven systems means better designs, better installations, and better outcomes than trying to be generalists across every brand on the market.
Not at all. Modern heat pumps are as quiet as a boiler when installed to a high standard. They make a small amount of noise, similar to a fridge, but it's rarely noticeable. Noise complaints are rare: less than 4% of people living near a heat pump report hearing it.
