overall very satisfied with the service provided by heat geeks from the first enquiry to final commissioning took approximately 5 months but that was more to do with the installers work load . I felt that the process went smoothly and I was kept well informed of where we were in the procedure.

Fantastic from the very start. They worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted but were able to advise and guide at the same time. Never pushy and happy to delay the install in order for us to maximise the BUS grant. Can’t fault the experience.

They made the process quick, easy and give you the information you need to make an informed decision. Plus their free YouTube videos are the reason I was convinced to get a Heat Pump in the first place. They have the best survey technology and that makes it the quickest and least disruptive too. We got the lowest heat loss figure which means we will have lower bills and they guarantee the efficiency. Really pleased we chose them.

FAQs

How much do heat pumps cost in the UK in 2026?

In 2026, a typical air source heat pump installation in the UK costs between £3,000 and £20,000 after the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, which can be up to £9,000 if you’re on oil or LPG. Final costs depend on property size, insulation levels, emitter upgrades and system design quality. At Heat Geek our average install price is £3,000 (after the grant). That's the same as swapping out your gas boiler.

Because every home is different, the only way to get accurate numbers is through a properly modelled design. Heat Geek’s paid Design Consultation provides a full heat loss calculation, system specification and guaranteed performance estimate tailored to your property.

What about Daikin, Mitsubishi, or Samsung?

Reputable manufacturers, but we specialise in Vaillant. Deep expertise in one platform means better designs, better installations, and better outcomes than trying to be generalists.

How quiet is the aroTHERM?

From 29 dB, roughly as quiet as a whisper. Well within UK planning noise limits, even close to neighbouring properties.
